Dreaming and some Controversy

I had a dream that was so vivid and so disturbing that when I awoke I had to immediately check and see if it really happened.

I dreamed that I went into the garage and someone had broke in and took the engine out of my car and left. They left the car, they shut the garage door behind them and never came into the house. In my dream I checked all of the rooms and everything was intact.

It was so real that when I woke and jumped out of bed I asked Stormie (my dog) why she didn’t alert me to the dream intruder.

Needless to say my car is fine, no one broke in, and all is good in Angie World.

The good news is the amount of sleep I am getting, I mentioned in my last missive I was getting  to 8 hours a night. Last night I am happy to report I am back to that, after the restless night before.

Ok, so, I am going to tell you something incredibly controversial. I am pondering a vegan diet for thirty days, I know, I love meat! But still, I have recently discovered Tabitha Brown, if you have not seen her videos, please check her out. She does vegan cooking and her attitude is amazing, her thankfulness to God is great to see, her whole you don’t have to do this, this is what I do, is refreshing in a vegan.

She said that about a year and a half ago she was really sick and doctors couldn’t figure out why. She decided to do a vegan diet for 30 days, what did she have to lose, and see what happens. She said she felt so good she decided to make it a lifestyle for herself.

I also like how she is honest about how things taste when she tries something for the first time. One video, she talks about how she heard you could make vegan bacon from banana peels. So she tried it, and she said no, don’t do this at home, it is so disgusting. I found that amazing, you don’t often find videos where the person tries something and then tells you it is gross, don’t do this.

So, yes, I am pondering a 30 day reset, going vegan, I am practically one now. This will just be purposeful, it is hard to cook for one, I am going to tell you I am living on soup and protein drinks. Oh and coffee, that is a real must, I am not going without, and it’s plant based so being vegan does not mean giving it up.

I recently found a plant based creamer that really is a creamer, I am very impressed by it.

Here is Tabitha Brown’s youtube channel, just in case you want to check her out. I highly suggest it, even if you don’t want to go vegan or try her recipes, you will feel happy after watching one. She just has a joyful spirit about her.
