Sleep Deprived

Well it is Monday morning and I am dragging, I had a hard time sleeping last night, as you are all aware I always do on Sunday nights. I watch way too many shows, I watched Scott Baio’s new show, I watched Once Upon a Time, Revenge and topped it off with Real Housewives of New Jersey. RHoNJ wore me out, it was exhausting, I am so glad it is over; I could not take another Sunday night of that mess. I would suggest all of these women get off the reality television ride, focus on their families and get their lives back on track.
I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the new offering of former teen heart throb Scott Baio, See Dad Run was an old fashioned, family sitcom. Loved it, it was funny, and a family could watch it together and parents would not have to address anything they are not ready to. I highly recommend this show and have set my DVR to record it, hopefully this is only the beginning and it will be picked up and run for many years.
I admit to not doing a lot yesterday, I had to run to Jeffrey’s to drop something off for him to take to Elizabeth Anne, other than that, not a darn thing was done yesterday. I managed to fill my car up with gas, just so I would not have stop this morning, also managed to go grocery shopping. I guess I did a little more than nothing.
I am about to explode, I have something so exciting to share with everyone and it is not the right time to share. When I finally get to share it, you are all going to just scream, maybe some of you will be shocked, maybe some of you will be extremely happy for me, maybe some of you will say, who does she think she is. I don’t know, but I do know that I am so beyond excited.

Painful Monday and Good for Mrs. Scott Baio

Another Monday, another beginning, another chance to make things better in the world. Or at least your part of the world. Incredibly optimistic for a Monday, I will admit however since this is fueled by caffeine, you will have to forgive the peppiness.
I helped a friend move from their 3rd floor apartment this weekend. This morning I do believe my legs have fallen off. Trying to get out of bed was a monumental feat. I literally thought I was going to die. As I am telling you this my legs are very literally screaming at me. I don’t know how to answer them. I left early today to ensure I had enough time to walk from the parking lot to my desk. Yes it is really that bad.
The upside is, it was so scorchingly hot I do believe I sweated off several pounds.
I am so tired today, as sleep was elusive last night, every time I moved the pain woke me up. Ugh, I seriously hate muscle pain as it reminds me that I really should workout to achieve complete thinness.
Ok, so, on twitter, Scott Baio had posted a picture of his refrigerator and asked his followers to do the same. Innocent enough, I, for one, enjoyed seeing what everyone was posting, very fun. Someone suggested this would make a great reality show, with Scott and his family choosing with whom to have dinner with based on the goodies in the fridge. Great fun, everything chiming in, posting pictures, then comes the one, and there is always one. The skank, the trashy woman who posts something so inappropriate that Scott Baio has to block her. Well, Mrs Baio sees the tweet and grabs her husbands IPad and addresses it right then and there. I say good for her, if more women reacted I do believe the skanks would get the messaged, eventually. I myself have responded swiftly and decisively when women have been inappropriate toward the Irishman. I dont’ put up with nonsense either.
It’s crazy that women don’t think anything about saying or doing really nasty things in social media or email, text messages or phone calls. They don’t think there will be any consequences, I do believe Mrs. Baio and women like her (me included) are teaching them a lesson one woman at a time. I will say this here and now, someone is always watching and you will always be found out and there will always be consequences
Good for Mrs Baio for reacting swiftly and decisively.
Well it is Monday and I need an amazing amount of caffeine to help me through this day. I hope you all have a fantastic day and remember reacting to a situation in a swift manner is always best.

Inspired by @MrsScottBaio

So the other day on twitter Scott Baio tweeted a picture of a table and said something to the effect that his wife had done a good job with a luncheon she was having. Then someone tweeted back, was this after mass, to which @MrsScottBaio (Renee Baio) tweeted she was Christian not Catholic, I really think she meant Baptist in the place of Christian, but it was thrown out there in twitterverse and the beating began. One woman actually tweeted that because they were not married in the Catholic church their marriage wasn’t valid. People were just brutal, one man said he would have thought Scotty would prefer Catholic girls dressed in little school girl outfits, I stared at that for a while. Does this man not realize Scott Baio is a grown man and prefers a woman as opposed to a girl, and he is saying this to the mother of Scott’s child, and his wife. It was really crazy and yes, Mrs Baio did come back and say she didn’t mean to imply that Catholics were not Christians and that she was a Baptist Southern girl so obviously Scott preferred her over the Catholic schoolgirls.
I am a Baptist Southern girl myself, a FreeWill Baptist Southern girl, I believe that Catholicism is not a different religion, it is a different denomination. I cannot believe the beating that was rained down on Renee Baio for not being Catholic, I have a lot of Catholic friends, in fact my BBFF, aka Jess, is Catholic. He, nor any of my friends, have ever tried to tell me I was not a Christian due to my beliefs, and in turn I have not done that to them. In fact, Jess and I have had many philosophical and theological conversations, I can’t really call them debates as we end up agreeing with each other.
Here is the real point, if we as Christians cannot recognize that if a person believes Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died to save us, then rose three days later to ascend to heaven, how can we respect anyones beliefs?
I had a wonderful Sunday School teacher in Owasso, Oklahoma, Mrs Hall, who told us in order to understand why we believe the way we do we needed to study other religions and denominations. She brought books to us, of course I was about the only one that read them, but I understood. I had a better view of the world after those lessons and a better understanding of the people around me.
I would like everyone to remember that Catholicism was the only Christian religion on earth until Martin Luther began the reformation. Please pick up a history book people, we are all Christians trying to make a better life for our children and the people around us. We should all be lifting each other up and not trying to tear each other down. If we do not have respect for each other how can we expect people of truly different religions to respect us as a whole.

Oh and FYI my first husband was Catholic and the man I am engaged to currently, The Irishman, is also Catholic. Therefore we can conclude Catholic men like Baptist women.

So, hats off to you @MrsScottBaio for standing up for what you believe in and not taking any of the insults hurled your way personally.
